T.C.S Reddy

He is the founding CEO & Managing Director of MAS (formerly known as APMAS) and Sadhikaratha Foundation, not-for-profit national level technical support organizations with a vision “Sustainable Women Self Help Movement in India”. He has contributed immensely to the development sector for over three decades. Mr. Reddy works closely with Government of India and State Governments of Andhra Pradesh, Bihar, Odisha, Telangana, West Bengal and Uttar Pradesh on various policy issues & advises them on planning & program implementation. Mr. Reddy was a visiting faculty at the Coady International Institute, Canada, teaching international certificate courses on community-based microfinance in Canada, Ethiopia and India.

He is on the steering committee of NAFPO (a national level association of FPOs), member of the FICCI FPO Task Force, and member of Academic Advisory Committee (AAC) of BIRD-Lucknow.

Mr. Reddy started his career with CARE International in India & worked there in senior management for a period of 12 years. He provided advisory and consultancy services to the IFAD, World Bank, DFID, CGAP, GIZ Germany, DGRV Germany, CARE, CRS, Raks Thai Foundation of Thailand, State Governments and a large number of NGOs in India. He is a member of the Board of Trustees of Commitments NGO, member of the Managing Committee of Stree Nidhi, a State Level Apex Financial Cooperative of women SHG federations, of Government of Telangana. He is also engaged in number of national & regional level networks of NGOs on themes related to financial inclusion, livelihoods promotion & farmer cooperatives

S. Rama Lakshmi

A Post-graduate in Rural Development, with more than 29 years experience working in the development sector. Soon after graduating, she joined Cooperative Development Foundation (CDF) in 1992 as Development Officer, holding the responsibility of Development of Women’s Thrift and Credit Cooperatives in Karimnagar and Warangal districts. In 1996 she joined SC Corporation under GoAP, as Assistant Project Officer and supervised Samabhavana & DWCRA programmes in Nalgonda district. In 1998 she joined SKS (Swayam Krishi Sangam) as Regional Manager, working on conceptualizing and implementing microfinance programmes

In 2001 she joined APMAS as one of the first batch of employees and developed various training modules and learning materials on various aspects of Community-based institutions. Her areas of expertise include training, SHG rating, project designing, business development planning, governing, conducting evaluation and research studies and financial management of CBOs. She worked on evolving a system of self-regulation for SHGs & FPOs. From 2013 to October 2016, she worked as Chief Operating Officer for Sadhikaratha Foundation (Sec 8 Company promoted by APMAS). After that she has been working as a consultant with APMAS. Along with this she is also providing consultancy services to NRLMs as a National Resource Person. She is also former Governing Board Member of National Institute of Bank Management (NIBM), Pune

Kalamani

Ms. Kalamani is a Post-graduate in Economics & an M.Phil in Micro Level Planning and was a Topper of the Gandhigram University, Tamil Nadu in 1986. She began her career as an academician and subsequently moved into the Development sector. She provided her services as Socio-Economist to Netherlands Aided Projects (under Royal Netherlands Embassy) in Hyderabad and held various positions in ‘Centre for World Solidarity’ (CWS), in Hyderabad for 13 years. She then moved to Delhi and worked as Programme Officer for South Asia in ‘Inter Church Cooperation’ (ICCO), Netherlands. Lastly she took up the responsibility as Executive Director in APMAS (Mahila Abivruddhi Society, Andhra Pradesh) for seven years and then as a consultant till date. In APMAS, she has contributed in developing /updating various policies and ensuing that the systems are staff friendly. She was instrumental in initiating the work with farmers and promotion of farmer organisations through G4 project followed by Green Innovation Centre. The mega watershed programmes implemented by APMAS paved way for conceptualising these initiatives. She is also instrumental in mainstreaming gender concerns within APMAS polices and programmes and plays a key role in visioning and strengthening the organisation in various aspects

Murali Jajuna

Mr. Murali Jajuna has over 34 years of experience in the development sector and is currently working as the Director Training and Capacity Building with APMAS. Prior to this, Mr. Murali worked with Uttar Pradesh State Rural Livelihoods Mission, at Technical Support Unit supported by BMGF under UPCMP Program as Lead – Partnerships. Earlier working with APMAS (from 2002 to 2015), Mr. Murali worked as the State head for APMAS operations in Bihar state and for a brief period worked in different positions in Andhra Pradesh during 2002 to 2008

In 1986, Mr. Murali started his career with Gram Abhyudaya Mandali a NGO based at Dharmaram (B) Nizamabad District and gained field experience of more than 16 years in community mobilisation, women empowerment, agriculture, grain banks, dairy program initiation and formation and nurturing and management of SHGs and Federations and registration of SHG Fed at Mandal level in MACS Act

The core working areas of Mr. Murali are Institution Building and Capacity building for the Community-based institutions and developing qualified Resource pool from various Institutions

A. Kumara Swamy

Mr. A. Kumara Swamy has been associated with APMAS since 2014 where he started his journey as the chief engineer for the construction of APMAS office and training centre in Hyderabad. He brings along with him over 22 years of experience in the field of administration and training logistics

Previously, he worked as a Consultant for National Rural Infrastructure and with Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) in coordination with NIPPON KOEI (through APMAS) on a project in Wayanad District, Kerala state, India to assess the infrastructure needs of the Rural community. He was also associated with CARE International in India managing a large-scale community housing & infrastructure project as a part of the cyclone rehabilitation of fishermen communities in collaboration with Government of Andhra Pradesh

K. Srinivas

K. Srinivas has three decades of development sector experience in different domains like WASH, Nutrition, Health and Monitoring. He worked with renowned Organizations viz., Care India, LEPRA Society and APMAS. His contributions in different portfolios such as Capacity Building, Project Management, Monitoring & Evaluation, Advocacy etc., supported the communities, Govt. counterparts & NGO partners in effectively taking forward the intended agenda for enhancing the status of the communities in terms of availing nutritional, health, WASH services being rendered by the Government

Vedprakash Singh

With a post-graduation in Public Policy from National Law School of India University (NLSIU Bangalore), Vedprakash is passionate about rural development and believes in structuring and strengthening the basics in order to move towards building a sustainable framework. His primary area of interests is in livelihood, institution building, gender and skill development. He worked with multiple NGOs in strengthening the efficacy of the organisation and also strengthening community institutions. He has wide experience in research and advocacy along with different stakeholders in the ecosystem

At APMAS, he is primarily engaged in Research, Advocacy, Training and Partnership building along various programs and projects. He coordinates the CBBO projects of APMAS under the Central Sector Scheme of Formation & Promotion of 10,000 FPOs (Ministry of Agriculture and Farmers Welfare, GoI), being implemented in Andhra Pradesh, Bihar and Telangana. He has worked in developing various resource materials and documents like APMAS ICC Policy Guidelines, APMAS Vision 2030 Workshop, Training modules and manuals, Gender Mainstreaming into FPOs, Quality Assurance in Training modules, IEC materials, and translation work of materials into Hindi language. Along with this, Vedprakash facilitates and coordinates various training programs at organisations level, is involved in various advocacy campaigns, research studies and also runs a talk series known as “Policy Charcha” inviting domain expertise to speak on thematic areas
